The use of the Internet by visitors traveling to Hawaii on vacation or for business continues to grow. The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort, offers access to the internet via the following methods:- High-Speed Internet Access Guest Rooms: Available in each guest room through Long-Reach Ethernet (LRE) broadband access technology. Guests using their own laptops or hotel supplied computers can log onto high-speed broadband Internet connections from their rooms at speeds of up 5 megabits per second to access the Internet, corporate networks, email, and other key applications. Guests with wirelessly enabled laptops and devices can connect to the Internet at speeds up to 50 times faster than dial-up connections. We offer three price plans: $4.11 for two (2) hours of service ; $13.49/day & $67.45/week ( All prices include tax.) Guests can charge to their rooms or to their credit cards. Access is offered via a wired solution in the room or wireless service at any of the four Waikiki properties if data signal can be found.
- Lobby: Wireless Access is available to our guests who have purchases it from our guest rooms or via credit card. We are able to offer roaming services whereby if a guest at the Moana Surfrider purchases High Speed Internet Access in his/her guest room, they will be able to "roam" wirelessly and use our signal at the Sheraton Waikiki, Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider and Princess Ka'iulani, providing they are able to acquire it. The general public is also able to purchase High Speed Internet Access from these wireless access points based on the same rate plans via credit card.
- On Command: The ON-Command TV Internet service features a second-generation browser and a stand-alone TV email tool or access to your on-line e-mail at sites such as Yahoo! or Hotmail. Through the TV internet service, hotel guests can search their favorite internet sites as our browser instantly formats the screens to look great on the television. Screen designs and instructions make it easy for guests to navigate the internet, which can be done with the wireless keyboard provided in the room. Daily fees apply. NOTE: This service does not offer connections to personal equipment such as a laptop.
- Business Center: Located in the Diamond Wing of the hotel. Use of computer, Internet access, copier, fax and a printer are available to all in-house guests 24 hours a day for a nominal fee. - Royal Hawaiian - Front Desk and Front Desk Foyer; Coconut Grove area; Gallery hallway from women's restroom to men's restroom; Surfroom & Mai Tai Bar; Royal Hawaiian Tower Lobby Level Elevator Landing and Pool area.
- Moana Surfrider - Lobby Area (by front door) Banyan Court and Pool (not bar area); WC Peacock area and Lawn fronting WC Peacock.
