Born in Fukuoka Japan, then raised in New York and Hawaii; Hiro Itoh combines the talents of many cultures in his life-long strive towards excellence.  Hiro has always had an interest to work in the hotel industry with a special curiosity for the food and beverage facet.

Hiro, who is fluent in both English and Japanese, began his career in the travel industry 10+ years ago as a Group Assistant Manager in charge of handling large group tours from Japan as well as VIPs and celebrities.  In 2001, Hiro embarked on his journey with Starwood as a Senior Sales Manager in Food and Beverage and soon after took on his current role as Catering Sales and Convention Services Manager.  In 2006, Hiro’s hard work paid off when he became certified as a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) by the Convention Industry Council. This feat only proves the lengths to which Hiro will go to perfect his profession.

Hiro Itoh is a superb meeting planner because he understands what it takes to make our guests feel surprised and delighted.  “Perfection is my standard.  Nothing is too much to ask or too hard to accomplish…I always love a challenge and am willing to grab it by the horns.” With these high standards, there are no limits to what Hiro can accomplish.
