BEACH/POOL
The Pool is situated in the heart of the Moana, the Banyan Court. The beach area for guests is directly in front of the pool and occupies the prime spot on Waikiki beach. Catamaran sails, canoe rides, surfing lessons and various other beach activities are only steps away. For refreshments, the Beach Bar and the Snack Bar are adjacent to the pool deck.
GENERAL SEASONAL SURF CONDITIONS
Summer Months: Small Surf = 1 to 4 feet*
Winter Months: Higher Surf = 1 to 2 feet
*Note: Summertime swells can be higher and caution should be taken at all times. Please consult with lifeguards in the towers on the beach with any concerns or questions.
LIFEGUARD ON DUTY
(HOURS) City Lifeguards on duty on the public beach from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. We have no Lifeguards in our beach and pool area, however.

Sun bathing, swimming, Outrigger Canoe rides.
MOANA BEACH
Towels are provided complimentary for use of our guests.
Beach umbrellas and chairs are available for a rental fee.

Winter: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Summer: 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

CAN YOU SEE WHALES?
Yes. Humpbacks can be seen from late January until late April. There is a pod of spinner dolphins that make their home in Waikiki. They can often be seen 300 yards in front of the hotel.
