1. How long does it take to get to Hawaii?
Hawaii is located 5 hours and 45 minutes from Los Angeles (LAX) and 8 hours and 30 minutes from Chicago (ORD) and Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW) based on direct flight times.
2. How far is the Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa from the Honolulu Airport?
Dependent on traffic, Honolulu International Airport is approximately 45 minutes from the Moana Surfrider (9 miles).
3. Is the hotel located on the beach?
Yes, the property is located directly on Waikiki beach with many rooms directly facing the Pacific.
4. What are the directions from Honolulu Airport?
From the airport, take the H1 freeway to Nimitz Highway which will turn into Ala Moana Boulevard. Make a right on Kalakaua Avenue (2 miles past Ala Moana Mall). The Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa is located approximately 2 miles down Kalakaua Avenue on the right hand side.
5. How do I arrange for transportation to and from the airport?
We can assist in arranging transportation in advance of your arrival. You may confirm with our Central Reservations or the hotel directly by dialing (808) 922-3111 and asking for guest services.
6. How much does it cost to get to/from the airport by taxi or shuttle?
A taxi will cost approximately $50; a shuttle $10 per person, each way to and from Waikiki. Additional charges may apply for baggage.
7. What is the cost of parking?
Parking is available at our sister hotel, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. Complimentary Self parking is included in the Resort Charge for one vehicle and $8 for Valet parking. Guests can re-enter the garage as often as they wish without incurring additional expense over the daily amount. The garage is located just across the street; however, the traffic pattern in Waikiki requires you add a few extra minutes to your pick-up time should you be returning to the hotel to get someone, due to one-way streets. NOTE: Height restrictions limited to: 6 Feet 5 inches; oversize vehicle parking is limited and all prices subject to change.

Available in each guest room through Long-Reach Ethernet (LRE) broadband access technology. Guests using their own laptops or hotel supplied computers can log onto high speed broadband Internet connections from their rooms at speeds of up 5 megabits per second to access the Internet, corporate networks, email, and other key applications. Wireless access, available in hotel common areas, at the pool and in all hotel meeting spaces, is delivered by Sprint Hawaii through wireless area local area network (WLAN) access points that support existing and future 802.11 technologies. The Beach Bar is open from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.; the beachhouse at the Moana bar is open from 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

Our sister hotel, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani has a full medical facility and is located just across the street.
13. Do you have an ATM machine?
Yes, located in the lobby. Several banking facilities are also within walking distance of the hotel.
14. Do you have Hawaiian entertainment?
Yes at the Banyan Courtyard from 5:30 p.m. daily.
15. When do you have a historical tour?
The historical tour has been temporary suspended until further notice.
16. Where can I exchange money?
The hotel front desk is able to assist you with this 24 hours a day. There are also several financial institutions located near the hotel.
17. Does this hotel have a Japanese speaking staff?
Yes, we have multi-lingual staff in many positions.
18. Do you have a hospitality room in the hotel?
Yes; hospitality rooms are currently located in the Banyan Wing of the hotel and are used by guests as requested.
19. Which restaurants offer an ocean view?
We would like to recommend on-site restaurants: Beachhouse at the Moana and The Beach Bar. At our sister properties, Azure at The Royal Hawaiian, A Luxury Collection Resort, and Twist at Hanohano at the Sheraton Waikiki.
20. What time is sunset?
It varies according to the season. Hawaii does not participate in Daylight Savings Time, so sunset will vary from between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The Royal Luau at The Royal Hawaiian, A Luxury Collection Resort and "Creation: A Polynesian Journey" at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel.
22. How far is Diamond Head?
About 2.5 miles from the hotel and it is a great run in the morning or you may taxi to the crater and the beginning of the trail to the top.
